
ELSEVIER International Publishing House honors three lecturers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering

The international publishing house Elsevier honored three lecturers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology, namely (Assistant Professor Wissam Abdul Katea, Assistant Professor Adi Shaker Hadi, and Assistant Professor Hussein Mohammed Hussein) with certificates of appreciation in appreciation of their distinguished contributions in the field of science and the role of their research in facing the greatest global challenges. It is worth noting that these researchers published a research in the Energy Reports magazine under the title:

The research focused on developing an innovative feed water heating system for the Parabolic Solar Power Plant, as well as its contribution to achieving the seventh goal of the Sustainable Development Goals: “Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.”

For its part, the Presidency of the Department of Mechanical Engineering extended its thanks and appreciation to the researchers in appreciation of their continuous efforts that enable us to contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development in a way that serves our beloved Iraq and the world as a whole.
The celebration included various themes, including panel discussions on ecosystem, sustainable human and economic development, technological revolution, workforce market trends, renewable energy strategy in Iraq, environmental risks and solutions, as well as an exhibition on qualification, employment, entrepreneurship, and patents.
